What is Elept?

Elept is a developer-focused file storage and delivery API designed for web applications, SaaS platforms, and mobile apps. Instead of managing complex cloud storage buckets and IAM policies directly, you integrate our REST API to upload, organize, and securely deliver files with private signed URLs or CDN-backed public links.

How is monthly download bandwidth measured and enforced?

Monthly download bandwidth is strictly capped by your active subscription plan:

• Free: 10 GB monthly download bandwidth
• Pro: 10 TB monthly download bandwidth
• Business: 100 TB monthly download bandwidth
• Enterprise: 500 TB monthly download bandwidth

When an account reaches its monthly quota, file downloads return HTTP 402 Payment Required until the monthly billing cycle resets or the account is upgraded.

What are the storage volumes and file upload limits?

Each plan provides dedicated storage space and maximum single-file upload caps:

• Free: 1 GB storage • 100 MB max file upload
• Pro: 100 GB storage • 5 GB max file upload
• Business: 1 TB storage • 10 GB max file upload
• Enterprise: 10 TB storage • 50 GB max file upload

Chunked uploads are supported on all plans for reliable multi-gigabyte transfers over intermittent network connections.

How do temporary signed URLs protect private data?

Files designated as private cannot be downloaded without cryptographic verification. When your backend requests a signed URL via the Elept API, we generate an HMAC-SHA256 authenticated URL with a time-limited expiration token. Once expired, the URL cannot be reused, protecting sensitive customer documents and internal records.

What support is included with the Enterprise tier?

The Enterprise plan ($499 / month or $4,990 / year) includes dedicated storage architectures, custom cloud storage buckets, and direct engineering support with our core infrastructure team to assist with migrations and integrations.

How does yearly billing work?

Annual plans offer discounted rates billed once per year:

• Pro: $204/yr ($17/mo billed yearly)
• Business: $1,068/yr ($89/mo billed yearly)
• Enterprise: $4,990/yr ($416/mo billed yearly)

Subscriptions can be switched between monthly and yearly billing anytime from your billing dashboard.

Can I use custom domains and white-labeled client portals?

Yes. Custom domains are supported on the Pro plan and above. White-labeled client portals with custom branding, logos, and color palettes are included on the Business and Enterprise tiers.
